Jes - Let's Get Involved Added to CMC TV Playlist
JES Jessica Emilie Stone (now known simply as “JES”) found her love for performing at the age of 5. JES started singing in her local church and school. Her talents lead her to Disney’s Magic Kingdom where she performed in a Motown review. In her early teens, JES landed notable roles in “Annie”, “The King and I” and “Showboat”. She later worked with Opera Naples having roles in “Faust”, “Don Giovanni”, “Patience”, and “Ruddigore”. JES has also sang regularly at the popular “Evenings on 5th Avenue Naples” circuit in Florida, showcasing her vocal versatility singing Pop, R&B, Jazz and Musical Theatre. While studying at the University of Tampa, JES landed leading roles in the musicals “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”, “Company” and “Working”. She was a second soprano in The Chamber Singers, The University of Tampa’s elite choral group, and a sister of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women. JES won first place in the senior college women’s musical theatre division of the The National Association Teachers of Singing 2016 competition in Tampa. Among the main highlights of JES’ professional career was singing in the chorus backing Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli at his 2016 concert at the Amalie Arena Tampa FL. JES also had the honor of singing “The Star Spangled Banner” for the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox Major League Baseball games. Under the teachings of vocal coaches Johanna Nicholson, Hein Jung, and former Mouseketeer Disney’s own Jennifer McGill, JES’ trained voice has matured. Now 24, JES is about to debut her new single with Atlanta based record label “JADED RECORDS” and she could not be more thrilled. Personally, JES is an avid reader of novels which feed her creative spirit, and is obsessed with Panda bears
