Ras Ceylon + Sizzla + Young Shanty - Prayerz Up Added to BET Jams

You might remember Ras Ceylon from his previous single "Betta B Ready" off Throwback Records Feat. Stic.man of Dead Prez that we distributed back in 2008. Ras Ceylon recently released his latest single Prayerz Up featuring American Reggae and dancehall musician Young Shanty from Chalice Records in Oregon and the legendary Jamaican culture Reggae singer Sizzla. The video Directed by Masa Media & Ras Ceylon was shot in Jamaica's Judgment Yard, Augustown St. Mary. Ras Ceylon is currently in Jamaica doing some promo runs for the Prayerz Up single.

Ras Ceylon is an educator, organizer and musical artist based out of Oakland, CA who is noted as the first Sri Lankan Hip-Hop artist to release an album (debut in 1999). He has been bringing uplifting messages to the masses for over 20 years, releasing 5 solo albums to date and appearing on multiple projects with notable Rap and Reggae artists. He is also a community activist working to empower youth around social justice and education. Ras Ceylon’s music reflects the Revolutionary lifestyle that he lives.
